Alpacas are ideal for small or large farms, and have a life span of around 20 years and well cared for animals are productive for most of those years.

They are docile, intelligent, curious and friendly animals. Alpacas look quite delicate but are extremely hardy and adapt well to most climates and can handle the wide range of pasture conditions.

Alpacas are bred for their incredibly soft wool that is much stronger than merino wool, hardwearing and much lighter. They have an extensive range of beautiful natural colours widely sought after by the worlds high fashion industries.
